I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'blocks us from tracking our own views'? Tracking plugins are designed to permit viewing stats, not block it. If I don't misunderstand your question, however, I'm afraid the short answer is "no:" I don't know of any built-in stat tracking for WordPress.org.

You'll need to install a plugin of one kind or another. I use google analytics for wordpress, and it works pretty well.

If you mean you need to track your views,i would recommend you use google analytics. You can sign up for an account at here .

Once you finish with registering the account, you should be prompted to validate your site and you'll be given a code. You can do this manually or with a plugin.I recommend you install the google anlytics plugin. Go get it from this link: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/googleanalytics/
This plugin install all the required code by itself. All you need is your google analytics web property ID.It is present somewhere inside the code you got during installation. It is identical to this: UA-0000000-0 . Copy just that part and go to (Admin > Settings > Google Analytics). Add the code into the box and save your settings.
It should take a little while for the code to be activated inside your google analytics account.Wait for your while and login to your analytics account again. You should see your site profile and you can view your full report.

    Cheers!

The Jetpack and WordPress.com Stats plugins give you the option to track or not track views of logged-in users. If you are using WordPress.com Stats, the option is in a page under the Plugins menu. In Jetpack, go to the Jetpack admin screen and follow the Configure link on the Stats module.
