  • Depending on what you are wanting to do, a shortcode can be entered into a text widget (in most cases) and it will work as a widget.

    I am awear of the shortcode,I mean I need a widget, this plug in is bug full, and a widget would solve all my problems

    Please define “bug full”.

    Also, please explain what widget you are looking for. I have seen you post in different areas about a widget, but it is very difficult to provide a solution for you if there is no understanding of what you are trying to solve with whatever widget you say you need.

    Had created a topic about this plugin working on custom filed, and its not, please read the last post on this link » http://www.wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-not-working-well-on-custom-fields-and-mobile-site-version?replies=8

    If u can help me… But actually if I get a widget I would use a hack to cover it o a normal short code, so it could work on custom filled, and most especially on my mobile press plugin. For the [userultra-login] short code doesn’t work on my mobile version, but works on Pc version.

    Maybe because they all run on a diffffrent CSS theme file.. Mobilepress css is at plugin>mobilepress>css>style.css.min … This is infact the most the most confusing code of my life. View this http://www.360crest.com/login?mobile & vieew http://www.360crest.com/login?nomobile

    This is thee most wonder full plugin had seen and I just can let it go, but my mobile user can’t enjoy what my pc user does

    Taking Users Ultra out of the equation for the moment, I need to point out what I have seen.

    I have looked at your site again.

    I have looked at the mobile version (which contains two 500 Internal Server Errors).

    I have looked at your home page without your mobile view. That page contains 35 (thirty five) errors showing from multiple plugins.

    One of those plugins is discontinued and the plugin author advises using a different plugin. Two more of those plugins are compatible only up to WP 3.5.2 and haven’t been updated in over a year. A further two of those plugins are compatible up to WP 3.6.1. MobilePress is one of them. Another of the plugins is only compatible up to WP 3.7.1.

    I am not going to be able to help you with all of those errors. My suggestion would be that you take a look at the outdated plugins you are running on your site. Outdated plugins don’t only create problems with functionality due to them not keeping up with WP standards as WP evolves, but the versions of code used to help them function aren’t kept up to date and leave your users and website vulnerable to all kinds of things. If those plugins use WordPress libraries, they haven’t kept up with the WordPress versions of those libraries. That will cause problems too.

    Especially when I see 35 errors coming from multiple plugins you have active on your site without mobile view and two 500 Internal Server Errors showing up due to inaccurate URLs coming from your MobilePress plugin.

    I would love to be able to help, but I don’t have time to troubleshoot all of those other plugins, nor would I attempt from this end of the computer screen. And trust me, I’m not opposed to putting in the time to help.

    In this case, I really don’t believe us providing you with a widget will solve your issues. I wish I could say it would.

    What you seem to be doing is posting multiple threads for the same problem and blaming Users Ultra for mistakes and errors, when in fact you are running outdated plugins on your site with a total of thirty seven errors pointing to multiple plugins.

    Because our current plugin doesn’t work with the older plugin MobilePress, does not mean that our current plugin is the problem.

    I see that you are running WP 3.9.2. As you are probably aware, WP 4.0 is due out on or around the 24th of this month. I really do hope that the MobilePress plugin gets updated soon, otherwise you might find that causes you more problems than you are currently experiencing.

    If MobilePress is a problem, I can’t guarantee it’s the only one. Though, what I have seen indicates it could be at least a good part of the problem.

    Now, Users Ultra. I can find no errors on any of my sites, my client’s sites or our support site (all of which are running Users Ultra). It doesn’t make sense for us to make Users Ultra compatible with plugins that aren’t being updated, especially those which haven’t been updated in a year.

    We can’t provide that kind of support. Sorry.

    What I would suggest you do is update all of your other plugins in order to remove the errors currently showing on your site. Then if Users Ultra is causing you problems, we would be happy to help.

    Unfortunately, that is the best I can offer at this point.
    Thanks

    I’m interested in a separately styled login widget. I’m struggling with .xoouserultra-field-type in the style sheet. I want to compress the standard presentation when using the login shortcode in a text widget but I don’t want to change the presentation of the profile and registration pages and they use the same style.

    I think I found my own solution. In the Text widget, I added an inline style:
    <style>
    label.xoouserultra-field-type {
    float:none;
    }
    </style>
    [usersultra_login]
