does updating wordpress make problem s2member reset ?

    Hi, my current site now running on 3.5.1 version. I want to upgrade to the latest 3.9.1. But I am affraid my s2member configuration (such as categroy/post restriction, users EOT time, etc) will be erased by wordpress upgrading.

    How to upgrading wordpress without loosing any of my s2member configuration?

    No, you shouldn’t lose it. Make sure you have this enabled: WP Admin -> s2Member -> General -> Deactivation Safeguards

    That said, it’s always a good idea to make a backup before changes like those. I’m not saying only for s2Member, but in general it’s good practice.
