Does twentyeleven theme display number of comments? (5 posts)

Just looked at the preview of different twentyeleven blogs. Couldn't see any display of comments made to articles. Only when clicking the "read more" button and looking below the article one can find out if there is a comment. Isnt this the very meaning of blog, to have comments and make others notice that there are comments being made? Any idea?

Yes, It does display the number of comments, If a post has any comments (and comments are enabled for the post) a comments bubble will appear to the right of the Title.

Thanks, I plan to change to twentyeleven because it offers more custom options than ever before giving the premium theme market some work to do. The successor to the five year old WordPress default theme, twenty ten, has finally arrived and seems to be a big improvement on the old version.

twentyten is not 5 years old? As the name would imply.... It's about a year old! :)
