Does this work with NextGen Gallery Version 2.0.40

I get this error when trying to run the image omptimizer: ERROR: Optimization Interrupted

Does it work with NextGen Gallery Version 2.0.40

I switched off all other plugins so I am guessing it is not compatible with this version of NextGen, any ideas?
