Does this work with bbpress?

    No. User Role Editor does not work with bbPress roles currently. bbPress create its roles and capabilities dynamically for every request and does not store them at database as WordPress itself does. I exclude bbPress roles from User Role Editor scope for this reason.
    In future I plan to add support for bbPress roles via filters as the additional module for Pro version.
