Is there a way to make the plugin work on a custom post type? It apparently does not at the moment.

    Thanks!

    Can you tell me how?

I have created a custom post type, and when I edit it, the Co-Authors interface does not show up, there's only the normal author select list.

There used to be a section where I would hard code the custom content type, but I don't see it in the most recent update. It just works on any content type now.

I just found out the issue, sunamumaya.

Your Custom Post Type needs to support 'authors'. If not, it will not show up. I was having this issue, added that into the 'supports' argument, and it was displaying.

I don't know how to do that...

I'm using the CPT-onomies plugin, and I do have the "Guest Authors" in the "Attach to Post Types" configuration settings, but it does not do it.

    Any other ideas?

In CPT-onomies, under Advanced Options for your custom post type, you should be able to assign support for "Author".

    Rachel,

that is checked, but still not enabling Co-Authors Plus (CAP). It does ensure the Author drop-down appears in the back-end, but CAP isn't enabled.

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your brilliant work with CPT-onomies, though! One of the best plugins out there.

Please let me know if you have any other ideas, although I think this is a CAP issue, not a CPT-onomies thing.

    Cheers!

Well that sure is sweet of you. Thanks!

Please let me know if something changes and you think this is a CPT-onomies issue. Hope you get it all sorted!
