   Hi there.
   I'm looking for an ultra simple specific slideshow that I can insert into individual posts.
   An example of what I'm trying to achieve is here: http://www.australianinfront.com.au/studio

   Can anyone recommend a plugin that would achieve this?
   Just a simple, clean looking slideshow with "previous/next" links, etc as shown above.

   you might try:
   superslider-show

   install/ activate.
   attach images to a post as usual.
   add shortcode [gallery ] to your post.

   select from one of four themes on the plugin options page.

   Thanks. Looks like I might be able to get it working with some heavy customising.
   I wonder why an ultra simple sideshow doesn't already exist?

   simple, but with a nice set of options

   You might also try portfolio slideshow. It's as clean and simple as it gets.
