Does this plugin work with other RSS providers?

    Hi clangille,

    The plugin doesn’t work directly with RSS feeds, but mailing services. Feedburner happens to do both and the Feedburner ID field is hardcoded to work only with Feedburner (since it subscribes folks to Feedburner’s e-mail system).

    Looking into Feedpress, it doesn’t appear it offers directly a solution to have new posts e-mailed to subscribers, but instead uses MailChimp.

    The plugin does work great with MailChimp. 🙂

    Ah, gotcha, thanks Brandon! I was trying to avoid Feedburner to be honest.

    I’ll try giving it a whirl with Mailchimp,
