WP SlimStat
[resolved] Does the "ignore spammer" option retroactively remove spam listings? (2 posts)

I noticed that a suspicious visitor had been listed in WP SlimStat. I checked the WordPress panel and found that he had left a comment as well; I marked it as spam.

(I don't know if this matters, but I then installed AVH First Defense Against Spam and blocked the IP address.)

Later in the day, I returned to my blog, re-logged into WP SlimStat, and found that the suspicious visitor's name, IP and other information
    was no longer listed.

"Yes - ignore spammer" is selected in the WP SlimStat settings panel, but it had already been selected well before the suspicious visitor spammed my blog.

So, does the "ignore spammer" option retroactively remove spam listings from the WP SlimStat's panel? Thanks.

    Hi there,

Yes, it does remove them from the stats as soon as you mark the corresponding comment as spam. A few users requested this feature a while ago, and I thought it made sense, indeed.

    See http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wp-slimstat-inspiration-for-future-versions?replies=30 for more information.

A vote for my plugin would be a nice way to say thank you
