Does not work on .htaccess protected site

    I have a development version of a live site, which is protected with a .htaccess username/password authentication.

    This plugin does not run while I have the .htaccess enabled.

    The error I receive when I go to run is:
    The HTTP response test get a false http status (401)

    Any thoughts?
