   Does not work on Custom Post Types with custom sortable columns. No apparent drag and drop functionality. However does work on standard Pages.

   Not quite true... it does work with custom post types with sortable columns. But not in a sorted mode, other than page order. Think about it -- how would you drag and sort pages if you're not ordering your pages with their menu order?
