WP Single Post Navigation
[resolved] does not seem to work with headway 3.4.3 - 3.4.11 (6 posts)

    You say that WP Single Post Navigation works with the Headway Theme Framework. But I cannot get the Single Post Navigation to display with Headway Theme (Versions 3.4.3 to 3.4.11). Checked the HTML and it does not show up.
    (If I switch to Twenty Eleven, WP Single Post Navigation works.)

    Any idea what could cause this and how to fix it? Would love to use WP Single Post Navigation with Headway 3.4.x.

    Thank you very much,

    I have also tested with this Headway 3.4.4+ and it does not seem to work, unless there are specific instructions on using this with Headway that I have not found. I've seen the usage of your plugin on various sites and it would be a nice addition to have.

    Hi there!

    I am sorry that it seems not to work with Headway any longer...! I never owned a copy of Headway, I just added the hook from their developer documentation. Obviously they must have changed something, really bad, when hooks change in a framework without fall back.

    Since I have no Headway, I'll try to use regular WP behavior and remove the (old?) Headway hook with next version.

    Sorry for the trouble, folks!

    Thanks, Dave :)

    If you contact support@headwaythemes.com they'll totally help you to work things out to make the plugin work.

    Thanks for looking into this.

    I've got a reply from Headway support that solves the problem. I'll quote:

    You can tell the developer to add the following hook in for Headway 3 compatibility:
    add_action( 'headway_body_close', 'ddw_wpspn_single_prev_next_links' );
    ... The other hook is for Headway 2.

    If you're using a child theme, feel free to put that same code in the functions.php file until the plugin author addresses it. If you're not using a child theme, you can put the following into your Header Scripts/Analytics option under Headway > Options:

    <?php
    add_action( 'headway_body_close', 'ddw_wpspn_single_prev_next_links' );
    ?>

    Verified the above hook works (using it in a Child Theme). Thanks for sharing.
