   I followed in the installation instructions. The insight search box appears in the Post editor. However, clicking "Search" after entering a keyword does nothing. There is no response, no message, no results.

   Could this be a fault of the hosting service? Some features do not work on my hosting service, like the Flash file uploader.

   like wordpress version, caching plugins
   browser

   Requires WordPress Version: 3.0.0 or higher
   Compatible up to: 3.0.6

   I knew this sort of stuff was going to happen but still I have to fix it :)

   Same problem here.. hitting the search button does not perform anything. Since you found the error, can you please tell us when do you plan to update the fix? I really want to give this plugin a go. Thanks!

   I cant give you a date when its fixed
   im going to clean up the code first and repair the bugs in there
   could take several weeks

    Does not work for me. I am testing on WordPress 3.2.1 with all latest plugin. It does not search for any option. Let me do the test on other server too. Previously old Insight only fails for inside blog search, but your new Insights Reloaded fails for all option. Let me test if it works for any other installation.

    thats even more strange
    since i only cleaned up the code with spaces and documentation
    i didn`t change functions and such

    Does not work for me in FF7 and Maxthon 3 (webkit) on a test blog (default them, no other plugin).

    Plugin is crap. Should be pulled from the repository since the bug was never fixed and no longer appears to be supported.
