    Out of the box, did setup to block the main posts page (the one that shows them all, you know… the main blog page – which btw, for me, is not the first landing page, so Home<>Blog).
    The posts page is not blocked.
    Next step, I did check to block all pages. The only page that would not lock is the posts page.

    Is this expected behavior?

    If you are setting a static page as a posts page (in WP’s Settings > Reading settings) and expecting that whole page to be blocked, that won’t work. That will just be read as a loop of posts, which if you are using the ‘more’ tag, will show excerpted content (or you can use the auto excerpt setting in the plugin).
