Does MS not use register_post()? (6 posts)

Does a MS install of WP not invoke register_post() when a user submits the form on wp-signup.php?

If not, is there another hook we can use to achieve the same effect? Basically I want to change the sign-up behavior so it emails the admin rather than the person who signs up.

    Thanks,
    Colin

  2. If WP doesn't email the person who signs up, they can't log in...

  3. And it already emails the admin when a user signs up.

I'm having a hard problem with this as well. From what I can see, register_post and registration_errors aren't being hooked into :-/

Actually, I dug into the code for the New User Approve plugin to see why it's not working on MultiSite, fixed it and blogged the fix at: http://beshoy.girgis.us/2012/02/wordpress-multisite-multiuser-registration-approval/
