Does Javascript cause freeze ups to wordpress?

    Issue is at random moments, the page will freeze up loading some of the page. It seems to occur when loading sidebar2 because when I remove the widgets, it loads without issues. I’ve tried two different advertising widgets Author Advertising and AdSense Manager.

    Could it be the javascript calling? Has anyone experienced problems using Performancing ads with wordpress?
