Does deleting Custom Post Type delete actual posts?

    Hello,

    We have a little over 1,100 posts in a Custom Post Type we created called “Local News”.

    If we delete the “Local News” Custom Post Type (under Post Type Name — Delete Permanently), will that delete the 1,100 actual posts themselves?

    If not, where do they go to be able to edit/delete once “Local News” is no longer listed as a post type for me to access?
