minusonebitThere are so many bugs in 2.7 I cannot believe it. And when I go to trac, I find plenty of reports filed and few of them are responded to by anyone, and it seems like most of the the folks who do respond are just other users with "me too" type of replies.
For example: There is an issue in 2.7 right now where the search feature at /wp-admin/categories.php ignores sub categories and will tell you that no categories exist when this is indeed not the case.

Two ticket open (was three, but I closed a duplicate) and none of them seem to be getting any attention. Is WordPress even actively being developed anymore? Usually with open source projects you can "see" the "progress" as it happens in the bug tracking systems (like trac). But I am not seeing it here. It looks like everyone is on an extended vacation.
How do we get some of this stuff fixed? Anyone have god's unlisted number?
