   I am trying to clean up my WordPress installation, and noticed that there are several wp-shotsnap folders.

   Does anyone here know what these folders are for, and can they be deleted ?

   Possibly from a wp-snapshots plugin that you installed at some time in the past?

   Thanks ... I never installed that. I also saw a wp-snapshots directory, but googling helped me find out the culprit, it was the Duplicator plugin which I tried last time.

   I suspect this wp-shotsnap is from Xcloner plugin, anyway, still trying to figure it out.

   After deleting the folders, they don't re-occur anymore. I don't use Duplicator and Xcloner anymore. So marking this as resolved.
