• I just deleted an administrator from my website and resumed my site as the Administator, only now my site is blank and reads:

    “Not Found:
Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”

I have 42 images in my gallery but no longer a functioning website. I’m not sure if in deleting the previous Administrator this is the cause. There was something in relation to converting “… and links” to Adminstrator.

Furthermore, this is not my background, however, up until this point I was learning how to manage my own website.

If this is indeed the problem, can I have WordPress rollback to the version prior to the removal of the other adminstrator?

Also, I am quite baffled between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. Now I have two completely different accounts. Help!

  • WordPress itself saves revisions of individual posts so that you can go back to them, but it does not automatically back itself up so that you can restore the entire environment. I’m afraid that the only way you can go back is if either you have your own backup or your web provider takes backups.

wordpress.com is a hosted platform, wordpress.org is a general term to describe this website as a whole, or self-hosted blogs using the WordPress software.

    Thank you for your reply.

Alright, the site is on WordPress.com. They’ve directed me to you. Where and how do I proceed. There are not any posts for me to deal with, in fact, there may be a totally different reason why the site is down. My homepage is ‘up’ but incomplete which is suspect.

If the site is on WordPress.com I’m not sure why you’ve been sent over here. THey have their own forums here.
