I have a similar problem: I insert the properties in the list, but they don’t display properly and you can’t search properties neither.
Can anyone help us to configure it to work properly?

Apologies for the delayed response here. We have documentation that we will be placing on our theme site in the near future (http://slocumthemes.com).
Basically you’ll want to install the Easy Real Estate plugin, set up your properties and create taxonomies (search criteria). Once all of this has been set up, you can set your Front Page to a static page in Settings > Reading and then you can work within the Property Search Sidebar and the Front Page sidebar to display your properties accordingly.
