Do Not Upgrade to 2.2.12 (39 posts)

I'm still receiving the same issue and cannot use anything on my website(front end, back end, nothing).

The message I get is: "Fatal error: Class 'SlideshowPluginAJAX' not found in /wp-content/plugins/slideshow-jquery-image-gallery/slideshow.php on line 40"

    I've removed and re-added 2.2.11, 2.2.12, and 2.2.13. Anyone have any ideas?

    Here's my site: http://www.lssi.com

THanks for all your help and for continuing to answer.

    Update from me ...

After upgrading to 2.2.13 I also went to all white space. Returning to 2.2.11, I still had only white space.

It turned out my Slideshow plugin had lost connection with all the photos. I had to re-attach the photos and all was well.

Also note - there is a link to 2.2.11 in one of the posts above.

I've just released version 2.2.14 of the slideshow plugin, which should solve the problem of the slideshow not appearing when images stretching is disabled.

@ae_segatti: You still seem to have version 2.2.12 installed on your website, which is why you're getting the error. You can remove the plugin by using FTP to access the files on your server.

I still have this problem after updating to 2.2.14, as you can see on this page: http://jtechdev.com/home-2/ All I get is a blank place where the slideshow is supposed to be. I have checked logs for errors and I can not find any. I also checked the html of the site and almost all of the slideshow code is hidden:

    <div class="slideshow_controlPanel slideshow_transparent" style="display: none;"><ul><li class="slideshow_togglePlay"></li></ul></div>

    	<div class="slideshow_button slideshow_previous slideshow_transparent" style="display: none;"></div>
    	<div class="slideshow_button slideshow_next slideshow_transparent" style="display: none;"></div>

    	<div class="slideshow_pagination" style="display: none;"><div class="slideshow_pagination_center"></div></div>

    	<!-- WordPress Slideshow Version 2.2.14 -->

I have tried going back to version 2.2.11 and 2.2.12, but the problem still persists. I also checked to see if the slides were connected to the correct images, and they were. I am really trying to find an answer here, but there doesn't seem to be anything.

    Thank you!

And I forgot to mention, that I have tried turning on and off stretching of images.

    Hi Jeffrey,

Your slideshow doesn't start because the slideshow's script isn't loaded on the page.

Do you have the 'wp_footer();' function call in your theme's 'footer.php' file?

Well, turns out I was calling the wp_footer(); function, but I was calling it twice. It is now working.

Thank you! I probably wouldn't have found it if you didn't give me a hint.

Thank you! This saved my day..!

Funny enough I only got this error after transferring the website to another provider... Nevertheless overwriting the files fixed the bug! TNX!
