Do I need multisite?

Hi,
Should I change my site to Multisite. I am using Buddypress plugin. I want my users to be able to upload content text and images. I want them to be able to receive text images from administrator. I do not need them to be able to chat or collect friends or in any way communicate with outher users or sites.
Any advice would be apreciated.
