   Greetings! A forum post suggested that when I edit my posts I'm sending unnecessary pings to the directories and I could get banned from the directories. So Do I need a Ping plugin to stop pings when just editing, and only ping when I add a new post?

   If so, which one is a good one? Thanks!

   Unlikely to happen unless you're editing the posts dozens of times.
