I installed WordPress and started constructing my site, but I thought every WordPress site automatically has a blog page or setting default with it. I had to create a page and name it “Blog,” but when I tried using HootSuite to schedule social media posts to my Facebook page, Twitter feed, etc, and tried to add my WordPress blog by entering my WordPress admin username and password, it linked to a blog that has no connection to my constructed site. It’s very weird.

When I tried to go into HootSuite to modify that WordPress blog setting, I see this message: “Please Note: If you manage multiple blogs under one WordPress.com account you must set which blog will be updated by calls from HootSuite. This can be done by logging into WordPress.com and modifying the “Twitter API” setting on the Profile page (reached from Global Dashboard).” But no matter where I go in my WordPress Dashboard, I don’t see any Twitter API setting or even a Profile page. The only profile I can find is my own profile, but there’s nothing about an API. Can anyone direct me to where I need to go (where HootSuite’s message is trying to send me)???
