Do deleted plugins leave extra “stuff” in your database?

    I am wondering if I need to be cautious in installing a lot of plugins on my site. If I install a plugin and then uninstall it, does it leave anything extra, like parts of that plugin in my database or something?

    Or does everyting get cleared out when I delete the plugin folders?

    I just want to be careful and not create potential problems down the road…
