Div height depending on height content

    Hi everyone,

    This is my first post on this forum because I used Joomla before. Now I’m trying WordPress for the first time. I have to say, I’m doing it great 🙂

    BUT, I have a small CSS problem. Which has nothing to do with WordPress.

    This is the website I’m working on: website
    Don’t pay attention to the first message. This is not important.

    What I’m trying to do is the following: The background of the white DIV on the left has to have a dynamic height. Depending on the content in it. Now the DIV is to high. It has to end at the bottom of text at the right in this DIV.
    Then the content at the bottom-left has to move upwards.

    I tried to make the DIV (hoofdveld) height: auto; but then the white background disappears completely.
    Does anyone know what I have to do with it?
