   i'm running a site with a domain in spanish and a subfolder in english, so i have two wordpress installs

   in one of the installs, lately it's been happening that, whenever i post a picture, the picture uploads ok, but it doesn't seem to get attached to the post... i know that because i'm using get the image plugin to show a thumb on frontpage

   also, sometimes it happens that some posts just dissapears... they get to the frontpage, but somehow they dissapear a few moments later... that's really odd..

   nothing? please, this is really strange

   i have already reinstalled wordpress, to no use

   i'm using wordpress 2.8.1 with two installs on the same domain, one on a sub folder

   anyone?

   Hi,

   Check with these options:

   - Disable plugins
   - upgrade wordpress to the latest version
   - Assign 766 recursive permissions to wp-includes folder.

   shane, i did that and everything went blank... no wordpress, no site...

   i then went back to chmod 755 and at least the site is back, don't know about the images...

   any other ideas?

   ok, i've discovered that some of the issues have to do with the editor role

   editors couldn't post, nor save a post, whereas admin can...

   this is really annoying...
