Disqus 2.74 comments not appearing in WP Dashboard

I am using WP 3.8 and Disqus 2.74. everything on the public side of my site works as expected. When I login to the admin of my site, If I click on Comments > Disqus I can see new comments, but when I click on Comments > All Comments, I cannot see new comments. The only way I can seem to get the two lists to sync is to “Disable automated comment importing”, save settings. Then I have to “Reset Disqus” from the disqus settings panel and “Sync Disqus with WordPress”. This makes the two lists the same. If I go and uncheck (re-enable) “Disable automated comment importing”. The lists remain synced, but any new comments only show up in the Comments > Disqus area, and NOT in the Comments > All Comments section. PLEASE HELP!! I am looking to launch my site very soon, and Disqus is a big component of my goal to connect social media to my site. Thanks in advance
