Hello, question on Ocean Mist 2.0 theme! I have a navigational menu that has a dropdown submenus for some items. How do I display on a sidebar the whole submenu if i press the parent item on a menu. For instance, Products and Services on a menu has a list of services. I want them to be displayed on the sidebar until another item on navigational menu is selected. Thanks in advance

There are literally thousands of WordPress themes - which means that many people won't be familiar with your particular theme. So a link to your site where people can see the theme might result in more responses.

Thanks esmi for the prompt response. I prefer leave the url for the site out of this forum for now. I appreciate your suggestion nevertheless.

Ocean Mist is fairly bare bone theme that does not have many templates. My guess is that sidebar.php needs to be modified to accommodate the request. this is a fairly standard design: you have services on the navigational menu and a list of services with each service having its own page. You click Services and the list of services is displayed on the sidebar. Then you can click on each of the service on a sidebar and see the page.

    Thanks

Then use a disposable link. Every theme is different. If we can't see the problem - we cannot help.

Esmi, you are absolutely right. Here is the url: http://valeri.2dev.com/financial
    1. In the example, the navigational menu item SME has three sub-menu items: Service #1, Service #2, Service #3. When I select SME on the menu, I would like to have the list of the sub-menu items placed vertically in the sidebar under "SME"

    2. The second question: why does search displays only one page with the search results even though the word can be found on several pages. For instance if you search for "Financial analytics" you only get page with Service #2. However this word combination can also be found on other Home and Service #1 pages.

    Thanks in advance

    [No bumping, thank you.]

Sorry but your chosen theme is not released under GPL. Non GPL products are not welcome in the WordPress community. Official WordPress policy states that all plugins and themes that are publicly released are required to adhere to http://wordpress.org/about/gpl/

Any support requests for non-GPL products are usually ignored, in the interests of supporting the community and its freedoms. Try contacting the theme's developer for support.

Fair enough. Can you please recommend the theme that is released under gpl, have similar look and feel and can be as easily customized as ocean mist.
    thanks
