I've posted a couple of times this question. Unfortunately nothing that works has been offered (that has enough detail for me to implement anyway). I would like to show my most recent posts in the middle of the main page. A moderator suggested: "Copy the code from your single.php to your index page", but not only is that not the answer, it makes it impossible to post anything. I left the site broken, check out http://aboutsubprime.com to see the problem.
I do not know php, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Posts or comments?
In your other thread you were asking about the comments...
And if you want comments - the search works... it has been asked zillion times.
searching for "show comments on index" brought this up among the first hits:

Moshu-
My error. I was incorrectly using "post" and "comments" interchangably. My apologies. I'm really not sure what visitors prefer. Do they want to see the latest post first, then its comments, then a comment form? OR should I show ALL posts on index.php but with a link to each post's comments immediately underneath the post it belongs to? Or is there another, even better alternative? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

Probably, they don't know what they want.
And if they do - they expect the "normal" blog behaviour, which means NO comments on the main page! Visitors always prefer the patterns they are familiar with: it makes the navigation predictable and painless.
So, just leave it to the theme designers - and use the themes as they are.
FYI: your site is a big 404 not found...
