I have a three column section on my home page which I am using dynamic widgets to fill with content. In the first column I would like to display the 3 most recent posts from a post category, and in the second column I would like to display posts 4,5, and 6 from that same category. Any help is appreciated. I have found plugins that do this but only allow you to specify the number of posts to display, and I need to be a little more specific.

It looks like you will need to create a custom widget to include an
offsetoption (first widget would offset would equal 0, second would equal 3).
