I've run into a bit of a bind and am hoping that somebody can help me with my dilema.
I have run several magazine themes before in which it was necessary to have a featured content slider--something that I usually turned to a plugin for and then heavily modified the CSS in order to achieve the desired look.
In the past, displaying multiple posts was exactly what I wanted. Now, what I'm looking for is the ability to display only one featured post.
What I'm trying to accomplish today is the same idea with an image, the title, a small excerpt, and a visual link in the bottom right hand corner directing readers to other content within the specific category. (See this link for a visual: http://grab.by/aJoW)
Can anyone help me with this? Possibly providing some code?
