Displaying older posts as “regular” posts and not archived

I am trying for the life of me to get wordpress to do what I want but I cant seem to find the solution anywhere.

I want to change how, when you go past page 1 on the homepage, the posts are displayed. Right now they are displayed as archived posts. I want to make them look like regular posts like page 1. Same problem goes for my categories pages.

Since your home page, which likely uses your theme’s index.php, is displaying posts in the manner you desire, with the help of the Template Hierarchy article, determine what Template is displaying your categories (could be archive.php or category.php) then copy theme’s index.php over that file.

Might backup everything before attempting…see WordPress Backups.

Thank you, tried that and it didnt work… It still only shows the posts as Archived…

With the help of the Template Hierarchy article, determine what Template is displaying those posts. Then edit that Template and add the template tag, the_content() to get the full post content.

OK, I have now done that without luck… then i decided to clean out my theme folder and remove all template (post) files except index.php still no luck the posts are displayed as “Archived; click post to view. ” + the excerpt: etc.
What am I doing wrong, I have managed to get wordpress to follow my bidding on everything else????
