    Hi Susan – very swish looking site. I don’t think you’re using the right tool to accomplish this so I don’t think you’re missing anything. If it were me and if you have access to the theme, I would suggest that you:

    1. get a list of all categories excluding the ones you don’t want. Use get_categories

    2. for each category, list articles in that category using get_posts

    That way the page will remain dynamic and you won’t need to edit the page everytime changes are made to categories.

    Thank you, conjur3r … I try this later today.

    I had been using Table of Contents Creator, which DID work in situations such as this one … but it broke something on the site (hasn’t been updated in a couple of years).

    Anyway … I’ll let you know how it goes.
