   Ive currently set my homepage to show post excerpts, however it does not show the audio players included in these posts. Whether its the wordpress audio player or the soundcloud player, nothing will show up. They show up perfectly in full post view.

   Any help would be greatly appreciated

   Post excerpts strip out html (no bolding etc). That's by design. You can try putting the code directly into the custom post excerpt section of the post edit page, but I don't know if that'll work.
