   Hello

   I am new to WordPress. I have installed a Theme (MovieMaker) and I have set it up just about how I like.

   The predefined spaces for the banner ads work fine, and I realise there are numerous ways to make them rotate. However what I want is slightly different:

   I would like my banners to rotate but be sourced from a different group depending on which category is currently diaplayed. E.g. If Category 1 is displayed then all Ads will be taken from Group 1 and if Category 2 is being viewed then Ads will be taken from Group 2 etc. etc.

   Is there a plugin that can do this feature? I have searched the forum but did not come up with anything.

   PS I have never used PHP but I am an experienced ASP coder so I am not bothered about dabbling with the PHP with a little help.

   Thanks esmi.

   I had a look and that plugin does not work with WP 2.7.

   Any other ideas?

   Can I pick up the current category from a PHP variable?
