   Hello,
   I'm putting together a site, and trying to learn at the same time. I am TERRIBLE at code, but can sometimes deconstruct stuff.

   In the sidebar under Upcoming Events at Brownstone, I want to only show selected posts from the Events category. I understand that I would need to go in and change the post numbers to list in sidebar.php.

   Or maybe I can set an event date as a custom field an only show posts in the Event category that happen in the future?

   Your help is appreciated.

   Lots of configuration that I am still trying to learn, but it does seem to work okay and the author is responsive to questions.
