    Hi,

we already developed something similar that will be published with the next release.

maybe, in your case, the native wordpress image caption might be enough

just to be clear, do you want to include the source in the template only for the thumbnail or also for images in the main content?

    Hi webzunft,

Thanks for your response. It will be good to include the source for images in the main content. That is what I am trying to do. I believe this is really needed as crediting the source of images is the correct thing to do when your building an authority site. The wordpress caption is an option but it requires extra work because you have to put in html for every image.

You can check out the feature of what im looking for on http://www.buzzfeed.com As you can see they have a credit under the images and they also display an icon for the original site containing the image.

Any idea when the next release will be out? In any case thanks for working on this plugin it is really needed in the wordpress environment.

    Hi steveone86,

As I mentioned, the new release will include the source into the image. I hope this will solve your issue than, but am open for suggestions for other features in the future.

The next release will be out soon. All the features are ready, but an upgrade problem is still unsolved. Maybe in 2 weeks.

    Hi steveone86,
I updated ISC to version 1.3.0. Displaying image sources as a caption is now included. I hope this solves your request.
