display recent post from multisite in main site body home page

please, i am trying to display content from my wordpress multisite networks in the main blog. i am not talking of using the rss widget, i actually just want to display the recent/popular post (thumbnails) from other blogs in the multisite in my main site page.
i am kinda new to wordpress and i have no programming skills, but i can attempt with the right instructions
