    Guys - I'm totally stumped!

I run 2 different websites, call them A and B.

I'm trying to get a random post from Website A to show up on Website B with a thumbnail image - and can't figure it out for the life of me.

    Is this even possible?

Can you not use an iframe, and use Kleor's 'Content Switcher' plugin to generate a random number for the post id:

    http://www.kleor-editions.com/content-switcher/en/

(or downloadable through Plugins 'Add New')

I don't want to re-blog the content. I am basically just trying to make it show up in the sidebar - like an RSS feed with thumbnail images.

Does anyone have any ideas how to do this? Or could you point me to some reading material? I've been at it for days!

I'm trying to pull content, and display its title and thumbnail image on another blog.

I've been at this for a week straight and still haven't been able to figure it out.

I'm trying to have the 5 most recent posts (title and image thumbnail) from a Tumblr blog appear in the sidebar of a WordPress blog.

Is this possible with a plug-in? Or is this strictly a RSS issue?

    Any help... please?!

Maybe one of the advanced rss widgets? RSS is really the only way I can see of doing it.... if thumbnails from the source are output with the rss

Oook, this can be done several ways.
First, if they are both WordPress websites you can use the multisite feature to run both websites from the same Admin Panel (and the same database).
An easier option would be to setup a "Random Post RSS Feed" that includes a thumbnail and it's limited to 1 post on website A and then display that RSS feed on site B.

Guys, I can't use wordpress widgets.

I'm trying to import posts/pics from a TUMBLR blog into a WORDPRESS blog and obviously WordPress widgets don't work on Tumblr blogs. That's the difficulty I'm running into.
