Display problems with Tulip Time 0.9b template for side bar insertions (1 post)

Hi everyone. I just installed a Tulip Time 0.9b by Highlands by Design. Of course I modified it to fit the theme of our site. BUT having some issues.

I want to start off by saying I know html fairly well but PHP I am not at all familiar with. I had someone work out a few of the bugs, however there are things that are still not displaying on my blogger page as they should.

For one the AUTHOR area at the top I have added my info in between the <p> and </p> tags replacing the default wording, however the default wording is still showing up and not the content I entered to replace it?? I did this under the edit theme area area in the dashboard. Is there something about needing to "uncomment" ? If so I have no idea how to do this and where I do that. All I know is that its not working.

Also my VERTICAL Google Adsense Ads are not appearing on my left side bar even though loaded. I have not used a widget but suppose I should have. I put this in where I assumed it went under sidebar1.php. I added the code for it directly under the last bit of code in the coding there, for such. But again this is PHP and I only know html.

Is this particular theme widget or plugin enabled and if so is it better I install one of these. If so where can it be found?

As well I manually added under sidebar.php (the right hand side) my affiliate banners, all are 120 x 90 sizes, but even though I am using the centered tags <center></center> they are not centering, they are instead vearing over to the right. The area above the affiliate links is centered however.

How do I center these in PHP? Again, the area above it is but not below it and I am getting increasingly frustrated with this. Ugh!

Is there a way to have someone look at our individual blog sites so they can see what is going on, as its going to be very hard to really point someone in the right direction if I can't even show them the problem.

Again I am not in any way a PHP expert. You are talking to a real novice here. While I own and have designed several other html templates this PHP area is very foreign territory to me.

HELP! Thanks to anyone in advance who can point me in the right place to resolve these issues.
