Display posts on homepage

    Hi there, I am new at this and have no idea about coding and still learning the language of wordpress.Two questions please:
    1. I added a new page to my blog (destinations page) to which I added two sub pages to display posts from my previous trips. I fiddled with the pages, deleted the home page (silly). I have now put the homepage back but the posts are not displaying anywhere. I would like the home page to display latest posts.
    2. There is a large Leave a reply box on the homepage, can this be made smaller?
    I think it may be a simple fix but I have no idea. Please help.

    The link above is showing your posts. That is your “home” page. It is created dynamically (on the fly) by WP. If you want a different page to open first, you create a Page and then go to the dashboard, settings, reading and select static page.

    Thanks, so silly of me! a total novice when it comes to this. Everything takes ages to do!
