[resolved] Display Page instead of Post when user registers (3 posts)

    Hey everybody,

I have a WordPress Multisite installation but was wondering if there was any way I could get it so that when a user registers, their reading settings are set so that their site has a static page as the homepage automatically, instead of the recent posts?

I installed the New Blog Defaults plugin in hopes that it would have that option, but that seems to be the only thing that's not available.

If anybody could help me out or point me in the right direction for getting this figured out I would be very appreciative.

As far as I can tell there is

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpmu-new-blog-defaults/
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/default-blog-options/

which don't quite do what you want.

You might take a look at http://wpebooks.com/replicator/

Set up a blog any you want it. plugins, widgets, pages, categories, tags, etc etc. clone it and/or each new sign-up has the exact same configuration.

You have to press one button.

You then might change your mind.

Just tweak the "master" blog. clone it and/or each subsequent new sign-up has the new configuration.

You can get it so that when a user registers their blog is configured the way you want it.,

There is a small charge but it makes life way easier and there is really very good support if needed.

Wow that's perfect man, thank you so much for finding that. I'll definitely check it out but by the looks of it that's exactly what I was looking for
