display only LATEST category on front page?

    Hello!

    I’m trying to figure out how to display only the latest added category as a front page, but I don’t really understand how to fetch the latest category. I’m guessing I’d have to find the highest category ID number and make that display..? I’m clueless, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
    The test-site is up at: http://www.fhoto.se/nytest
    where every new story is added beneath a new category. I want the front page to display the latest story.
