Display One Entry of Specific Category At Top of Front Page (2 posts)

I have a wordpress site that I've been running for a while. Recently, it's been a travelog, but I want to include other types of posts irrelevant to my travels. The thing is, I don't want the two to be mixed together on the front page.

    The site:
    http://shenjingbing.com/

What I want to do is (I hope) simple:

I want, on the front page, to display at the top the first entry from the "chinalog" category, regardless of when the last entry in that category was made.

Then, I want all the other categories to display below it in normal order. Here is my crappy ASCII diagram:

    -------------
    SECTION A
    Most recent Chinalog entry.
    -------------
    SECTION B
    Everything else.
    -------------

So basically section A displays the most recent entry, and section B behaves just like a normal front page, ignoring all entries from the Chinalog entry, so that only 1 chinalog entry, the first one, appears at one time on the front page, and it always appears first.

    Thanks for your time.

See this link just add code similar to that before the existing loop in your theme's index.php.
