Display of domain name instead of IP Address

    To get my domain name to display instead of my IP address in WordPress, do I change BOTH the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) in General Settings or only one or the other? Is the format: “http://domainname.com” all that is needed?

    To clarify, I have a Bluehost hosted WordPress site with my domain name pointed to the IP in Go Daddy. It works fine with either http://www.domainname.com or domainname.com to navigate to the site. But, when I click to any page in the site, the xx.xxx.xx.xxx/username format appears. I am trying to change that so that a post page would have format “domainname/category/post” instead of “IP address/username/category/post”.
