I have two sites using SimpleX right now & I'm facing the same design issue for both sites. I cannot figure out how to get the narrowcolumn & sidebar to display at 100% height. I know know a fair amount about CSS & have customized the sites to some degree. This has me stumped though.
I've read a tutorial online which explains that an element cannot be given the attribute of 100% height if that element's parent height is not defined - which makes sense. However, I can't figure out the hierarchy of elements so I'm unsure of which to change.
Before I go about adding additional divs & whatnot I figured I'd ask if there's a simpler way to go about this.
The sites are below. Thanks in advance for any help. :)

Well... if anyone happens to read this, I figured out a cheat. It's a little janky but it got the job done.
I created a rectangle in Photoshop with a width that matched my #content width. I added a border of 1px & cropped it so it just had a right & left 1px border & used it as the body background image.

Hey moggie-- I actually found this post outlining the same kind of cheat almost instantly after my first post. It's solved my problems too... no worries :)
