   This might be a matter of my Theme or WordPress itself, but as simple as it is I could not find any answers.
   I succeeded in making four albums for my frontage, but the albums (in compact display mode) will only show up vertical.
   To make a smooth looking frontage I need to align the four albums horizontal in one or two rows.
   How?

   Thx a lot.
   Though, this only controls the number of colums in a gallery, not in an album.
   I have searched a lot of wordpress codes and a lot of basic html codes but still did not find any solution.
   It makes me wonder, since I find the column control in album view rather urgent.

   Have you tried to be sure ?

   Could be your theme. Try with the Twenty Twelve.
